Electronic Conviction Inquiries

The Illinois State Police Bureau of Identification has developed a program that will allow individuals and/or agencies to process name-based Uniform Conviction Information Act (UCIA) background checks electronically via email and receive a response within approximately 24 hours. This program is referred to as “FEESUB”.

Electronic Responses

The Illinois State Police Bureau of Identification has developed a program that works in conjunction with the FEESUB program that allows individuals and/or agencies to receive the conviction responses to their name-based Uniform Conviction Information Act (UCIA) background checks via email within approximately 24 hours. This program is referred to as "DECRYPT".
