Illinois State Police Director Hiram Grau expressed deep regret and sadness for the family, friends and fellow ISP officers regarding the tragic fatal accident involving an ISP officer. Master Sergeant Pat O’Driscoll was tragically killed in a boating accident at Lake Como, Wisconsin on Monday morning. “On behalf of the men and women of the Illinois State Police, our prayers and thoughts are with the family and friends of Master Sergeant Pat O’Driscoll,” said Director Hiram Grau. “Master Sergeant O’Driscoll was a dedicated and honorable member of the department and his service will be remembered by the men and women of ISP and the citizens he served,” he added. Master Sergeant O'Driscoll was a 26 year veteran of the Illinois State Police starting his career in District 3 and serving in Riverboat Gaming and District Chicago.  |
